A little background...
I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. As a young child, I always had a creative spirit. Any kind of arts and crafts, you name it, I was into it. Once I reached high school, my passion for the arts broadened and became stronger. I fell in love with photography and painting. Senior year in high school I took an advertising class and that's the moment I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer.
In 2001, I graduated from high school and moved to Auburn, AL where I would attend Auburn University for the next four years. Right off the bat I was introduced to many realms of graphic design, photography, art and other mediums. I began to develop a deep profound passion for my work and a desire to evolve my concepts and visual solutions.
I graduated from Auburn University with a BFA in Graphic Design in May 2005 and moved to Charleston, SC to begin my professional design career. I started out as a freelance designer for a few local firms (Gunter Design and Hook) and worked part-time
with a printing company called Minuteman Press. In March of 2006, I accepted a job with DPS Sporting Club
Development Company where I designed many ads, eblasts, ready made web pages,
brochures, magazines and more. A year later, I made the decision to leave DPS and pursue my dream of starting my own company, TaB design. As the sole proprietor, I am responsible for customer service, marketing, art direction, design, production and accounting. This has allowed me to tremendously enhance my knowledge of the
business as well as expand my experiences.
